Here is the part nobody tells you at the store. Most truffle oil doesn’t come from real truffles. That rich, unmistakable smell usually comes from a single aroma compound made in a lab, not from anything that ever grew in a forest.

We found that out the hard way, and it started us on a year and a half mission to fix it. We are Truffle Bear, a woman owned company from Albany, Oregon.

We make truffle oil the way it should have been made all along, from real Oregon truffles.
